I’ve worn many hats in my career as a sports broadcaster: anchor, field reporter, sideline reporter, host, and my favorite, play-by-play announcer. I’ve had the privilege of covering elite sports across leagues like the NHL, NBA, CFL, MLS, and CEBL, as well as the honor of calling two Olympic Games.

What sets me apart is my relentless work ethic—a value instilled by my mother, a nurse, and my father, a construction worker. Preparation is my foundation, guided by Benjamin Franklin’s words: “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” But preparation alone isn’t enough. I bring passion and energy to every broadcast, a lesson from my mentor, George Matthews, the former voice of the Columbus Blue Jackets ,who reminded me: “If you’re not excited, how do you expect the audience to be?”

For any employer looking for a play-by-play announcer here’s my promise: I will be prepared, I will be passionate, and I will always bring professionalism to the job.
